[SOLVED] MTP USB device fail to install on Windows!!

You've already installed Kies and latest Samsung USB driver but still Windows could not detect the device present therefore file transfer between your samsung phone and pc could not be done.

I've tried on Windows 7 and did not encountered any issues. It managed to detect the internal and external storage automatically without installing any USB drivers and Kies software.

The guide below are for those who are having issues on Windows XP. Follow the guide step by step or else you couldn't get it worked.

 Solution:

1. Make sure that your windows xp is updated to Service Pack 3. If its not, do a windows update

2. Update your Windows Media Player version to 11 and above.

3. Download and Install --> Samsung Kies.

4. Enable USB Debugging on your phone :
                 Settings -> Developer options -> USB Debugging

5. Connect your phone with USB cable to computer.
Important ---> Unlock your screen with password on your Samsung phone.
The MTP driver will be installed at your computer automatically. 
If your computer still could not detect the phone present and then try step 6.

6. Download the Samsung USB mobile driver from this site ...
    Reconnect your phone and there you go.

This issues is annoying and i spent 1 day to figure out the solution.
